This weekend involved much less activity and much more relaxing than usual which is great to have every once in a while! In fact, I could tell this past week during my workouts that my body needed a break so the timing of this weekend was perfect.
Sunday was one of my BEST friend’s 25th birthday!!!
We went to high school together and played volleyball together. And now she is one of my roommates right now! She is okay I guess. 🙂
We celebrated by going up to one of our other friend’s farm house for the weekend. It involved a lot of laying around, playing games, doing puzzles and eating.
The bonfire and smores were easily my favorite part but of course I was enjoying them too much to snap a picture. Oops! 🙂
The weather was great overall even though it rained a little Saturday night. Saturday we went for a gorgeous walk through the woods out back of the house.
I am officially OBSESSED with fall. <3 <3 <3 <3
The house had an awesome pond so we even did some fishing!! Don’t worry — we let the fish go after we caught them so they are still happily living. 🙂
Tomorrow I am starting a 28-day whole foods cleanse and am actually super excited about it!! It’s not an intense cleanse like the master cleanse or a juice cleanse or anything. The goal of it is just to cut all the junk (processed food and sugars) and fill your body with the most nutrients you can. It will lead right up to Thanksgiving so hopefully it will help me stay in the (somewhat) healthy mindset for the holidays, More details on the cleanse to come!!
What did you do this weekend?
Have you ever done a type of cleanse?
When you have smores do you use regular milk chocolate or something else?
-Reese smores are my fave!!
