Easy Homemade Cinnamon Raisin Almond Butter

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Roast nuts for 10 minutes until they start to brown. Let nuts cool.
  2. Blend nuts only in a high speed blender or food processor (a VitaMix worked great) for 5-10 minutes until a creamy mixture forms. Be patient, at first the nuts will grind up, and as you continue to blend, their natural oils will release and it will get creamy. Frequently scrape down the sides of the blender while blending.
  3. Once mixture is creamy, add in the rest of the ingredients except the raisins and blend for a couple more minutes so flavors are well incorporated.
  4. Add in the raisins and pulse the blender a few times to mix into the almond butter.
