Chocolate Chai Spiced Granola

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 300.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together honey, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and almond extract, Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together nuts, oats, salt, and chai spices until well incorporated. Add honey mixture into oat mixture and combine until all dry ingredients are coated with the honey mixture.
  4. Spread granola on greased baking sheet in a single, even layer and bake for 30 minutes or until nuts start to brown. Stir granola a couple times throughout the baking process to ensure even cooking.
  5. Remove pan and let granola cool for about 10 minutes. Add in dark chocolate chips. If granola is still slightly warm, chips will melt and bind some of the granola together. If you dont want the chips to melt, be sure to let granola fully cool before adding in chocolate.
